Colonel Navneet MP Mittal, is the Director General and Founder of IIFOMAS. A retired Indian Army officer with over 42 years of experience in combat, corporate, and NGO sectors, he pioneered humanitarian demining in India, founding Horizon as the country’s first organization for post-conflict environment management by Indian ex-servicemen in 2001.

Col. Mittal, an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, was commissioned into 54 Engineer Regiment. He has been recognized for his distinguished service and has held several key roles, including as Chief Humanitarian Officer with the United Nations.

He has led numerous international mine clearance projects and is Chairman & Co-Founder, Horizon Group.
